This beautiful mid-century timber and sandstone home belongs to interior stylist Karen Kelly Tarasin. The house, which is built in the style of modernist architect Harry Seidler, is located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. The decor is a mix of old and new with modernist touches in every space. In the dining area for example (top images), a Saarinen ‘Tulip’ table is paired with original Hans Wegner chairs and a pendant light from Danish design company Muuto. The white base (floors and walls) and wooden furniture give the entire house a lovely Nordic touch.
